About the Studio

The studio is located in Calgary’s SW community of Oakridge. Amborella’s calming decor is beautifully accented with lush fresh flowers, unique plants, vintage elements, fragrances, hand made jewelry, home decor, and plenty of inspiration. We are a full service flower shop that specializes in unique, affordable gift giving and beautiful accenting for any home. At Amborella we believe a little creativity and the understanding of the principals and elements of design can go a long way.

Amborella’s owner and designer, Misha, sees beauty in everything and brings that perspective to her work resulting in some innovative and surprising designs. At age 27 she has over 13 years experience in the industry, and represented Canada when she was inducted into the American Institute of Floral Design July 2012.

AIFD accredited designers are recognized internationally and pride themselves as industry leaders. Misha has been featured in two major floral design shows, received outstanding achievement awards, and worked along side some of the floral industry’s most influential people.
