We currently do not accept walk-ins. All orders must be placed online. Pickup is still an available option however no browsing is permitted.

We deliver to Calgary, Airdrie, Cochrane, Okotoks, and Chestermere. Please know that our delivery range is a 50km radius from our warehouse; if your delivery address is just outside of this range, your order will automatically be reformatted to a pick up.

Delivery is based on your location. Within Calgary limit, the delivery cost is a flat fee of $10. The surrounding areas are a flat delivery fee of $25.

Custom orders unfortunately are not available for our online products. We want to ensure that each customization request can be matched exactly with what we have in stock at the time and unfortunately we are simply unable to guarantee what blooms we will have in stock from one week to the next. If you require a custom burlap bouquet we highly suggest visiting us in store and our shop staff will be happy to assist you in person! If you require a custom order for delivery, please head over to our custom order tab where our minimum order is $200.

Of course! Please submit the Custom Order form and we will be happy to build an arrangement to your higher budget needs! If you’re just looking for a smaller custom bouquet, please come into the shop!

With proper care, it is typical for our flowers to last anywhere from 5 – 7 days*. Different varieties of flowers will last longer than others so it is tough to know exactly how long each bloom will last as Mother Nature is always unexpected! Be sure to keep your arrangement away from heat, sun and fruit, trim the stems and change the water every other day and your bouquet will be happy!
*Peonies have a slightly shorter life at 3-5 days!

Our deliveries can occur anytime between 11:30am and 9pm. You or your recipient will be receiving a text message to the phone number you have provided on the order with a tracking link so that you are able to track your order straight to your door! Amborella Floral is a primarily e-commerce platform and therefore does not operate via phone line. You can email any questions you may have to! Our Administrative team is available to answer your questions 8am – 3pm Monday through Friday.

Please place all orders using the shop categories in our main menu. Any orders placed via email will not be confirmed.

We are only able to accommodate specifically timed deliveries for large corporate event orders with a 3 week minimum preparation time. An additional cost may be needed.

Flowers are a natural product and they go through various growing seasons that yield a variety of different sized blooms. Much like snowflakes – no two flowers are exactly the same!

Sizes for each bouquet or arrangement will greatly vary throughout the year due to each flower type that is currently in season, so we always suggest going by the value of the flowers within your arrangement rather than looking at overall size. Again, a “one size fits all” type of approach does not apply to natural products! An example of this is a Peony in June is larger in size than a Rose in January, however they are the same price in their respective seasons!

Wedding FAQs

Due to the perishable nature of flowers we do not have samples available to view. Please visit our #amborellawedding hashtag on Instagram for all of our most recent wedding photos.

Our florists are trained to ensure that the flowers are closely designed to match the information you have provided. If we do not feel that it is clear we will get in touch with you. Unfortunately previewing the flowers before delivery or pickup is not something we provide. The reason for this is: we have multiple weddings every weekend and it would simply halt our workflow to accommodate this to everyone. Please read the terms and conditions before placing your order.

An in person consultation is currently unavailable but virtual consultations are available to you. These consultations must be booked and held at least 4 weeks prior to your event date and we will send you an email to book your appointment 5 weeks prior to your event date.

Our designers are specifically scheduled to work when there are wedding items to make. They must stay focused on ensuring that each bridal order gets our full attention while working. We can certainly answer any questions you have over email:

You will notice that our pricing is different from other local florists, this is because we have worked so hard to create a website to eliminate the need for consultations. The reduced prices are a reflection of the labour that is not required when you order online, consultations being one component of that.

We will call you the week of the event to discuss your details for 15 minutes.

We do offer consultations, it is available for couples that have custom requirements such floral installations and other on-site designing day of event. To request a consultation please click here.

We mainly source our blooms from a flower auction. By ordering your wedding flowers online with us it means that the flowers used will be mainly seasonal choices made by what’s available. We always reference your inspiration image and colour selection before choosing the blooms. This is done the week of the wedding, so it is hard to tell you exactly what will be included in it.

Delivery is priced by km / zone. Prior to check out there is a field for you to add in the address which will populate a corresponding delivery charge.
